A few years ago I mocked up a menu for a fake game, all the assets were created using Photoshop, and implemented in the Unity engine. I wanted frame-by-frame animation combined with the animations inside Unity to bring a hand-drawn and lively effect to all the elements! It was a lot of fun and although old now, I learned a lot. If you look closely you'll notice a lot of wee details :)
